Welcome to Unity
Unity is a large facility providing a wide variety of services to the community and is located in the heart of "old" South Miami in close proximity to Jackson Memorial, Miami VA and Cedars Hospitals. Unity has established itself in specializations of adult care, including a rehab unit, an HIV unit, and long term care unit. Each unit is separate and distinct. Unity employs a full time physician assistant who is onsite daily and on call 24/7 to assist our nursing staff. The separate Star of Life Unit is designed to provide comprehensive care to individuals diagnosed with HIV and AIDS, and is dedicated to restoring hope and embracing life necessary for a successful transition back into the community.
Unity Health and Rehab has adopted a psychosocial model. Centered on a holistic approach to care, the medical, emotional, psychosocial, educational, and spiritual needs of our clients are met.
